Cherokee National ForestLocated in Southeast Tennessee, the southern portion of the Cherokee National Forest with its thousands of acres of forested mountains and rivers forms the heart of the Tennessee Overhill. Fall color extravaganzas and the explosion wildflowers create a spectacular backdrop for waterfalls, rivers, streams and trails. The Cherokee National Forest also offers opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, hunting, water recreation, fishing, scenic drives and much more.
