Earth Day Hike – Friday, April 22 at Fort Loudoun (1pm to 3pm).
Is a tree really just a tree? Of course not! Trees are diverse in shape, size, and species. They provide a variety of products, from furniture to paper. They are storytellers. Along this hike we will explore a few trees at Fort Loudoun State Park and what makes them standout from all the others.
This hike is approximately two miles; we will start at Fort Loudoun and includes Ridgetop Trail. We will venture off trail a few times. This hike is rated easy to moderate due to distance. Wear closed toe shoes and bring water.
No dogs allowed.
