The Tennessee Overhill Jam Spring Session is a 12-week group music program built on the JAM model, which emphasizes learning music through ensemble participation. Students develop musicianship, timing, listening skills, and collaboration by playing together in structured jam groups rather than through one-on-one lessons.

Sessions focus on shared repertoire, rhythm and chord support, melody development, and ensemble awareness. The program supports multiple skill levels, allowing participants to grow at their own pace while contributing to a collective sound. The emphasis is on consistency, confidence, and community-centered music making.

The program is open to 4th–11th grade students in McMinn and Polk counties.
