It is WEED WRANGLE time at last!
Weed Wrangle: is a statewide volunteer event in conjunction with the Garden Club of America that focuses efforts on invasive plant removals.
This year our park will take on the task of removing the invasive plant called “PRIVET”. This plant species has started to take over various areas of our park and we need your help to help remove it.
Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy working shoes/boots, long pants, long sleeves & leather gloves. 423-263-0050
WHEN: 9:00am-11:00am, Saturday 3/4/23
WHERE: Conasauga State Scenic River off of Hwy 411 near Old Fort here in beautiful TN.
WHY: To practice preservation & conservation of our natural resources.
WHAT TO BRING: Leather Gloves, Water, Snacks and tools like a shovel or Garden Loppers if you have them.
