Ft. Loudoun New Years Hike – Monday, Jan. 1 at Fort Loudoun (5:30pm to 6:30pm). 423-420-2331
Whatever your reason is – want to hike more, exercise, overcome your fear of the dark, or need to get away from family – join Ranger Baghetti on January 1st for a night stroll. We will be walking along the old road that came through the area. While it is relatively flat and paved, squirrels have a nasty habit of lining the road with acorns and walnut husks, so wear sturdy shoes. Bring a flashlight, preferably one with a red light. Dress warm. We will me at the visitor center for this one mile walk. This is a free event, but donations are welcome.
