What People Are Saying

We visited and picnicked with several hundred other solar eclipse viewers. The valley and mountains were beautiful. They had a couple of glider flights during the eclipse -it was amazing to see. It looks like it would be fun to take a glider ride one day. The personnel were so gracious to host this huge crowd and put on such a fine show! We will never forget our trip to Chilhowee Gliderport.

Beautiful location, Friendly people

I’m totally hooked on glider planes and will definitely seek them out on future travels. Jason and Sarah are very responsive before hand and do a great job explaining the controls and what to expect while in flight. You only live once, spend the money!

Hooked on Gliders

Amazing experience! Sarah and Jason were friendly and relaxed while being thorough and safety conscious. Beautiful area. The perfect place to experience gliding. Reasonable pricing for an adventurous afternoon. Well worth it. We will definitely be back for lessons. We are hooked!

Unforgettable! We Are Hooked!

I took a 30 minute glider ride. The owners, Sarah and Jason did a great job. Jason was the glider pilot and Sarah flew the tow plane. The view was spectacular. Only wind noise in the glider. The cockpit is tight, but you ride up front in a tandem configuration with a huge canopy, so you can see in all directions. It was a great experience.
