We visited and picnicked with several hundred other solar eclipse viewers. The valley and mountains were beautiful. They had a couple of glider flights during the eclipse -it was amazing to see. It looks like it would be fun to take a glider ride one day. The personnel were so gracious to host this huge crowd and put on such a fine show! We will never forget our trip to Chilhowee Gliderport.
